We keep a wide range of riding hats and skulls in stock from Charles Owen - Junior Vented Skull, Ultralite Skull, Pro Jockey Skull, Young Rider Velvet Hat, Rider 2000 Velvet Hat, Showjumper XP Velvet Hat - and from Champion the Ventair Skull and Ventair Hat.

Lester Bowden advises you to allow 15-20 minutes for your individual hat fitting. Appointments can be made by telephoning the Riding Department. Our trained staff will ensure the fitting is correct for you.

A Selection of stretch lycra cap covers, in a variety of colours is also available.

Body Protectors for adults and children 

Lester Bowden recommends Air O Wear's Reiver Elite and new zipped Outlyne for children and the zipped Outlyne for adults. These are made in a wide range of sizes so fitting by our trained staff is essential for maximum protection.

We also supply Racesafe Jockey Vests for Flat or National Hunt Racing.

These all conform to the current safety standards.

Riding Gloves

We have a large selection of riding gloves for Hacking, Showing and Cross Country, including Sealskins, Ariat Insulated, Woof, Neoprene, Mountain Horse, Roeckl, Mac Wet and Musto as well as basic 'Magic' (Knitted Stretch) and cotton pimple-palm gloves for everyday wear.
