Making A Purchase
The Lester Bowden online shop is very simple to use. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy to the shopping cart. Press 'Continue Shopping' to return to the store and add more products to the shopping cart. Once you have finished your selection, click on 'Proceed to Checkout'. You can view your shopping cart at anytime by clicking on the "View Cart" link at the top of the page, where you are also able to estimate the shipping charges.

If you are unsure of sizes, we recommend that you visit the Epsom shop for a correct fitting. The charts supplied in the Sizing Guide are solely to be used as a rough guide and ordering of incorrect sizes will be your responsibility.

We accept credit and debit card payment through our secure payment gateway Worldpay. For more information on credit card security please see below.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of an increase in price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

We will email you when we receive your order and when your goods are dispatched. We will also inform you of any back orders that are placed. If you wish to cancel the back ordered item we will happily refund the money back into your account. Should you wish to try an alternative size, please contact the shop using the contact details shown above, or the "Contact Us" link in the online shop.

Shipping And Handling
UK Shipping

Lester Bowden use Royal Mail Delivery for items up to 1kg, and UK Mail (signature required) for goods with a weight greater than 1kg. The weight of your goods will be charged at the Royal Mail standard 1st Class Rate plus a small amount for packing materials. At the checkout when ordering for delivery in the UK if your package exceeds 1kg in weight (equivalent to £5.00 and more in postage) your goods will be sent by UK Mail. Please note that this will require a signature at its destination.

Risk in the products (e.g. damage or loss to the products) will remain with us until we deliver the goods to the address specified in your order or the goods are collected in-store, after which the risk will pass to you immediately and we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage.

Overseas Postage

For all goods sent overseas, these will be done on a weight and packaging basis and will be by Royal Mail Air Mail Internationally Signed For.

Stock Levels
The Lester Bowden Website does not display stock levels except in our Sports Club Section. Please be aware that purchases made online are fulfilled in the relevant department using the stock available. From time to time items will not be available despite having been purchased online. When this does happen we make every attempt to fulfil this order as quickly as possible. Epsom College and Hurstpierpoint Orders are forwarded to the College Shops who then deal with these orders themselves.

Delivery Schedule
We aim to dispatch your order same day providing it reaches us by 12 noon Monday - Friday. Orders placed after this will be processed late afternoon or the following working day. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed on Monday morning. The shop is closed on Bank Holidays and dates as advertised on our website (http://www.lesterbowden.co.uk/pages/Opening-Hours.html). Orders will not be processed on these days, but will be processed the next working day.

SHOES
We hold stock throughout the year of the major colours of all the lines that we advertise. At certain times we may be out of stock in certain colourways in certain sizes. We will always advise you of any short delays in the processing of your order. If this is the case we will order direct from the manufacturers stock holding to minimise the delay for you.

SCHOOLWEAR
During the summer it may not be possible to keep to this schedule so please allow up to five working days for the processing of your order and then delivery.

Although we aim for delivery within a couple of working days, we cannot be held accountable for circumstances beyond our control such as postal strikes or delays in the post. Please use our next working day courier if you need to receive it guaranteed (UK Mail) next day (Not applicable during August and September).

EPSOM COLLEGE AND HURSTPIERPOINT COLLEGE SPECIAL DELIVERY
For Parents of the above Schools there is an option of paying for the goods online and then having your child pick up the goods from the School Shop. If this is how you would like it please simply add to the notes at checkout that you would like to have the postage removed and picked up from the school. We will refund you the postage when we receive the order. When goods are ready for collection from the school shop, an email will be sent to your email address stating that goods are ready for collection.

The college shops are not open everyday and therefore there may sometimes be a delay in the processing of these orders, particularly during school holidays. We will try to get orders during these times processed as soon as possible. Please alsp note that we are unable to offer UK Mail from these Stores so all goods will be sent by Royal Mail 1st Class Delivery.

Tax Charges 20% VAT is included in all the displayed prices online where applicable.

Credit Card Security
We accept credit and debit card payments - Mastercard, , Visa, Solo, Switch / Maestro, Visa Electron, American Express and Diners Club. Unfortunately for security reasons we are unable to accept Lester Bowden Account Cards on the site.

We take your card security very seriously and we are never partial to your sensitive card information. Customer card and account details are captured on the Worldpay secure servers, which are at the forefront of payment encryption and anti-fraud developments in the financial industry.

Worldpay payment processing service supports internationally recognised security checks including:

Cardholder authentication (Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode)

No credit card information is held by Lester Bowden.

Privacy Policy
Lester Bowden does not disclose buyers' information to third parties.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. Returns Policy
Items purchased online may be returned within 28 days, or 14 days if sale goods, for exchange or refund providing a valid receipt is presented. This will not affect your statutory Rights.

Goods can be returned to us at the address given above under "About Us". Postage will be at your expense, unless the return is due to a fault in our processing or a fault in the garment, in which case please ring us or email us prior to posting. In all cases please provide a copy of your receipt, your reason for returning the garment and your full contact details so that we can process your requests as soon as possible.

If you wish to exchange the garment due to no fault of Lester Bowden we will need to charge for this additional postage back to you, which will be calculated as before on a weight and packaging basis. If there is a price difference between the garments being exchanged, we will issue a refund or charge the additional cost accordingly.

We will only issue a refund or dispatch an alternative size once we have received the original item back to us.

Lester Bowden cannot be held responsible for goods being returned until they have reached the shop. It is advised that you ask for a proof of postage for any items being returned.
